Play On Education is a Worcestershire based company specialising in teaching piano, theory of music, early years music and movement classes and baby signing. The Play On Education online shop sells musical toys and instruments, educational toys, books and learning resources. In selected areas we also offer a Consultant Service which provides friendly advice and the opportunity to purchase our products in the comfort of your own home, event or educational setting.
Joanne, the founder of Play On Education, is a qualified music teacher, having 
completed a degree in music and a postgraduate qualification in education. She has over 10 years experience as a school music co-ordinator, teaching in mainstream education. During her time in schools she has run school choirs, instrumental groups and taken part in a variety of music festivals and competitions, as well as mentoring and training teachers and students. In addition, she has composed music for school plays and organised childrens performances. Joanne is CRB checked and is a member of the Musicians Union and the British Kodaly Academy, (BKA).
Following the birth of her son, Joanne is now concentrating on her work as the owner and music educator at Play On Education. In addition to teaching piano, theory of music and the Play On Education Music Kindergarten Curriculum, Joanne also runs Baby Signing courses to enable parents to communicate with their baby before they are capable of speech. She is also licensed to teach the Kindermusik programme, specialising in music and movement from birth to 7 years of age. This has been a valuable addition to the Music School programme. Joanne is dedicated to teaching a programme with proven methods, backed by current research. She aims to provide the children participating in her classes with a lifelong love of music.
